Preserving, Educating, and Building Inclusive Cultural Spaces
My cultural work sits at the intersection of education, community, and inclusion. Whether curating an archive, mentoring students, or creating museum programming, my focus is always on making stories more accessible, identities more visible, and experiences more connected.
I currently support museum education and interdisciplinary programming at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, where I lead hands-on learning sessions that blend art, science, and environmental storytelling. At Opera Mississippi, I’ve spearheaded the archiving of over 80 years of children’s opera history, helping preserve regional arts through a digital lens while creating educational resources for outreach.
In agency settings, I also championed culture-building and inclusion. As a member of Beacon, Praytell’s Black Employee Resource Group, I led DEI efforts across the agency—from organizing company-wide events (Pride, Juneteenth, Black History Month) to creating a monthly media club, digital discussion prompts, and internal blog content that supported equity, belonging, and authentic conversation. These values carry into my educational and archival work, where I continue to prioritize representation and accessibility.

Outreach & Archivist
Spearheaded a long-term archival initiative to digitize and preserve over 80 years of children’s opera and regional arts history. Developed educational outreach kits and grant-backed materials to support future programming.
